Momentum had been lost and yet another tournament was slipping away. Charlie Wi and Steve Stricker had 'the mo' and Retief Goosen was stagnating on the leaderboard. The Par 5 11th changed all that. 'The Goose' took driver and 5 iron to 17 feet and slipped in the Eagle putt. The South African was back in charge at the head of the field.

Mr Consistent: Retief Goosen tamed the Copperhead Course
The two times US Open Champion, came to the for at Innisbrook's "venomous" Copperhead Course and won with an 8 under score of 276. In form Brett Quigley and Orlando native Charles Howell III, were a single shot back on seven under 277. With the course playing 'major' tough Goosen's consistency was the key. 55 pars and only 5 bogies were key foundations for the victory, topped off with that eagle at the 11th.
This was the South African's 7th PGA Tour victory and his first since 2005, after a number of near misses. Victory was sweet silencing all the doubters who said he would never win an international tournament again. Goosen climbs to 5th in the Fed Ex Cup and 22nd in the World Golf Rankings.
Golf Betting System pick Steve Stricker continued his decent 2009 with tied 4th, but it could have been so much better. He was at 8 under after 16 holes, but then proceeded to bogey both the 17th and 18th to finish at 6 under. Mr Stricker is known as a 'choker' by punters and his latest capitulation, after the Northern trust and Bob Hope Classic, won't change that. Stricker was a 28/1 EW with Victor Chandler return for Golf Betting System.
The Golf Betting system predictor had further success with pick Kevin Na. A superb final round of 4 under delivered a T10 return available at 7/1 with Totesport pre event.
Thats seven predictor pick successes in the past two weeks over the CA WGC, Puerto Rico and Transitions.
