The Americans are Coming

The Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands became the US Open 'follow up' tournament in 2006. The course itself is a short Par 70 that does not challenge the PGA Tour professionals. You can see that it's a fair test for all types of golfer by the entry list, which contains both Brian Gay and Bubba Watson.  The way these two play golf could not be any different;  however to win the Travelers Championship one thing is for sure: you need to shoot low scores!  Stewart Cink shot a 64 on his way to victory last year and Hunter Mahan shot a 61 in the first round when he won the tournament in 2007.
