Another successful week last week (click here for results to date) we're hoping for much more of the same this week!

My tips for the Sony Open:
As you can see in my main outright tips, I’m getting behind Heath Slocum this week in Honolulu. He’s also our Number 1 pick in the Sony Open predictor model. So this spread works well for me at low risk. If Slocum finishes 8th or better it guarantees us a profit and with his natural game favouring tight and technical Par 70 courses and Bermuda greens Waialee sets up brilliantly. Slocum is a coastal specialist who has won 4 of his 5 PGA Tour events on Bermuda. The forecast of wind across Thursday and potentially Friday adds fuel to the Slocum flames. RESULT: M/C, 3 Points Loss
This market is made from the following 10 players only: Stricker, Els, Furyk, Kuchar, Byrd, Allenby, Scott, Clark, Day, Choi – scoring = 10 points for finishing 4th out of these players; 20 points for 3rd; 30 Points for 2nd and 50 for 1st so if Byrd finishes lower than 4th that will guarantee us an 8 point profit with Byrd being priced at 8-11.
Jonathan Byrd has been magnificent over the past 2 tournaments. Naturally he won in a Play Off at the Timberlake tournament in late October and backed that up with an incredible play-off victory over Big Bob Garrigus at Kapalua last week. That equates to +$2,000,000 prize money in a matter of 2 months. However the bubble has to burst soon and in a group with Waialee experts like Stricker, Els, Furyk and Allenby it’s going to be incredibly difficult for Byrd to deny us our profit by finishing in the Top 4 of the “Top Big Gun” market. Indeed in 6 appearances at the Sony Open Byrd has a highest finish of only 23rd. RESULT: T34, 8 Points Profit
