As part of our work to put the predictor models together each week, there’s a fair amount of statistical data that might come in useful for some of you out there. Rather than bin it, we thought we’d share if with you! If this type of page proves to be popular then we can expand the coverage and content – tell us what you think on Twitter or Facebook using the links at the top of this page.

The data is taken from the last 10 tournaments on either the PGA or European Tour with the most recent events being the furthest right.  Non PGA/European Tour events (with OWGR points) are marked with an asterix (*).

Steve Bamford Course Notes

TPC Twin Cities is set in Blaine, Minnesota 20 miles north of central Minneapolis.

Part of the Tournament Players Club group of courses owned by the PGA Tour, this is a resort-style golf course. An Arnold Palmer original design, at 7,468 yards and a Par 71, it sounds long in length, but set at 900 feet in altitude the ball flies a little further in these parts. Wide fairways are tree-lined but this is no old-style, classical golf course; Instead with 27 water hazards across 14 holes, TPC Twin Cities actually has a Florida-type look and feel to it. Naturally though agronomy is completely different to any course found in the Sunshine State, with Bentgrass fairways and greens allied to 3″ Kentucky Bluegrass with Fescue rough.

Green complexes are comparatively large to what we’ve seen on the PGA Tour in recent times and don’t hold too many fears. Wide fairways, large greens and a little altitude makes TPC Twin Cities another birdie-critical golf course, where power off the tee is rewarded in buckets and accurate wedges are vital to unlock low scores.
