What Sport Is On This Week?
The 2026 Masters Tournament golf plus European football are the highlights of the sporting week from Tuesday 7th April through Thursday 9th April.
The Masters Tournament starts on Thursday 9th April with the best golfers in the world arriving at Augusta National for the 90th edition. World Number 2 Rory McIlroy looks to become the first defending champion to keep the Green Jacket since Tiger Woods in 2001. However the LIV Golf League duo of Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau drive down Magnolia Lane with the best form of any golfers in the Masters field.
European football is back with the Quarter-Final – 1st Leg matches played on Tuesday 7th April plus Wednesday 8th April. Key match on Tuesday sees Arsenal travel to Portugal to play Sporting CP at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, kick-off 8pm on Amazon Prime. Tuesday’s Quarter Final Number 2 on TNT Sports 1 sees Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich from the Bernabeu, again with an 8pm kick-off.
Wednesday 8th April sees Liverpool headline with a difficult trip to Paris to face PSG at the Parc des Princes, live on TNT Sports 1 at 8pm. Wednesday’s Quarter Final Number 2 on TNT Sports 2 at 8pm is the all-Spanish clash – Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona.
