2024 saw a sea change in additional each-way places provided as bet365 became the Number 1. 2021 saw Boylesports cement their position as the Number 1 additional each-way places provider for golf. Indeed Boylesports offered a record 268 additional each-way spots across Majors Championship, WGCs, the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour. That was 60 additional each-way places more than the previous record held by Paddy Power in 2019. It was also over 50 places more than the 213 additional each-way places that Paddy Power offered in 2021 – they were again runner-up to their Republic of Ireland-based rival.

2020 saw a seismic change in the golf betting industry with Paddy Power being toppled from the summit of the golf additional each-way places mountain. Boylesports had threatened to do it in 2019, but last year, they finally offered more additional each-way spots across Majors Championship, WGCs, the PGA Tour and the European Tour. 174 additional spots across a truncated 2020, with Paddy Power dishing-up 170 and Betfair Sportsbook 168. 2019 saw a record number of each-way places given to golf punters by leading online bookies. For the first time ever a couple of UKGC licensed bookmakers, namely Paddy Power (208 additional each-way places across 78 tournaments) and Boylesports (204 additional each-way places across 77 tournaments) broke the 200 place barrier offered across 2019 Major Championships, European and PGA Tour in-totality.

Of the rest, Coral were consistent with their 10 places each-way 1/5 odds at all 2019 Majors and 7 places each-way in full-field events across both the PGA and European Tour.
