What can I use my Betfred free bet on this weekend?
Sunday’s Albania vs England international is the highlight of a sporting weekend which includes EFL League 1 and 2 fixtures, Eubank vs Benn 2 from Tottenham, and UFC 322 from Madison Square Garden, New York – all from Friday 14th November through to Monday 17th November 2025.
The live televised international football action kicks-off this Friday 14th November on BBC Three with Slovakia vs Northern Ireland at the Stadion Tehelne pole, Bratislava, kick-off 7:45pm. Both of these sides are in with a real chance of making the play-off berth, with Slovakia also playing Germany on Monday. Remember they beat Germany 2-0 here in September and will be tough opponents. Northern Ireland beat Slovakia 2-0 at Windsor Park in October, so this vital game really is a close one to call.
Saturday 15th November sees both Wales and Scotland in International action. 5pm sees Liechtenstein vs Wales on BBC Two. Craig Bellamy’s Wales are assured of a play-off berth based on Nations League ranking, but a win here will see them level on points with North Macedonia, who they play in Cardiff on Tuesday. Belgium are odds-on to top Group J – with a home match with Liechtenstein on Tuesday up their sleeves. The permutations in Group C are far clearer. It’s a straight shoot-out between Denmark and Scotland. Denmark face group whipping boys Belarus on Saturday in Copenhagen, making Greece vs Scotland live on BBC Two at 7:45pm vital. If Steve Clarke’s Scotland side can avoid defeat in Athens then they know that victory over Denmark at Hampden Park on Tuesday night will see then qualify automatically.
Sunday 16th November sees Albania vs England live on ITV1 at 5pm.England are already on the plane to the United States, but in Albania face undoubtedly their toughest game of a glorious Group K qualification campaign.
Full EFL League 1 and League programme available on Sky Sports+ this Saturday 16th November:
- League 1: Burton Albion vs Blackpool, Leyton Orient vs Exeter, Lincoln vs Doncaster, Luton vs Rotherham, Port Vale vs Wycombe.
- League 2: Accrington Stanley vs Bristol Rovers, Bromley vs Barrow, Cambridge vs Barnet, Fleetwood vs Swindon, Grimsby vs Chesterfield, MK Dons vs Salford, Notts County vs Harrogate, Oldham vs Crewe, Shrewsbury vs Newport, Tranmere vs Cheltenham, Walsall vs Colchester, Gillingham vs Crawley.
Monday 17th November sees Northern Ireland vs Luxembourg at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park – kick-off is at 7:45pm on BBC Three. A big victory for Michael O’Neill’s team could well see them through to a play-off spot in Group A, in what is a straight contest with Slovakia. Monday also sees a trio of Qualifiers all on Amazon Prime with 7:45pm kick-offs – Malta vs Poland, Netherlands vs Lithuania and Germany vs Slovakia.
Saturday night sees the much anticipated re-match between Chris Eubank Jr and Connor Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The first fight back in April was an action-packed 12 round classic, and there’s no reason to expect this second clash to be any different. The contest again will be conducted at a Middleweight limit of 11st 6lb (160lbs), with Eubank not allowed to re-hydrate higher than 170lbs in a second Saturday morning weigh-in. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium crowd will also witness a strong undercard. Former undisputed contender at Light-Welterweight, Jack Catterall, continues his new career at Welterweight against Ekow Essuman, who previously ended the tenure of Josh Taylor. Adam Azim fights Kurt Scoby who is a late replacement for Zaur Abdullaev, whilst Sam Gilley vs Ishmael Davis fight for British & Commonwealth Super-Welterweight titles.
UFC 322 from Madison Square Garden, New York, in the early hours of Sunday morning sees full coverage on TNT Sports. This numbered card sees 2 World title fights plus Sean Brady, Beneil Dariush, Benoit Saint-Denis, Bo Nickal and the UK’s former UFC Welterweight champion Leon Edwards. Main event sees UFC Welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena make his first defence against former Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, who makes his debut at Welterweight, attempting to become a double weight champion.
Co-main sees a women’s super-fight with Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defending her crown against former Strawweight champion Weili Zhang. Zhang, who is a 2-time Strawweight champion and who is unbeaten since November 2021, steps up to fight Shevchenko, who with a win over Zhang will make another step towards being the UFC Women’s “GOAT”. The Welterweight division really is the big story at UFC 322 as the main card also contains a title eliminator between Sean Brady (Rank #2) and the unbeaten Michael Morales (Rank #8). Plus Leon “Rocky” Edwards (Rank #4) vs Carlos Prates (Rank #9) would see a spectacular winning performance propel either man into title contention.
