What sport is on this weekend?
Saturday’s 2026 Randox Grand National on ITV1 is the highlight of a sporting weekend which includes Premier League, EFL Championship, League 1 and League 2 football, plus UFC 327 from Miami – action from Friday 10th April through to Monday 13th April 2026.
The 2026 Randox Grand National from Aintree will as ever be the biggest betting event of the year. Run over the gruelling Grand National course on the outskirts of Liverpool, Willie Mullins’ I Am Maximus is a Grand National specialist who won this in 2024 and was runner-up last year. The British challenge is spearheaded by the Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero-trained Iroko under Jonjo O’Neill Jnr who was fourth 12 months ago, whilst Haiti Couleurs, who has won both the Irish and Welsh Grand Nationals for trainer Rebecca Curtis, is sure to be popular under champion jockey Sean Bowen. With Dan Skelton-trained Panic Attack, the UK challenge looks strong, although Grangeclare West and Captain Cody for Willie Mullins demand respect in this 34-horse handicap chase revered globally.
The Premier League this weekend features a fascinating clash, Chelsea vs Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. A Sunday 4:30pm kick-off on Sky Sports, if Manchester City want to win the Premier League this season then Pep Guardiola’s side require 3 points against a misfiring Chelsea whose last win in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge was against West Ham at the end of January.
Other televised Premier League games this weekend include West Ham vs Wolves on Friday 10th April, live on Sky Sports with an 8pm kick-off. Saturday lunchtime then sees Arsenal vs Bournemouth at 12:30pm, live on TNT Sports. Fascinatingly Bournemouth have beaten Arsenal in 2 of their last 3 Premier League meetings, including a 2-1 win at the Emirates last season. We then move to Sky Sports at 5:30pm for Liverpool vs Fulham. Liverpool are 5 points shy of Aston Villa who occupy the last European spot for next season.
Sunday 12th April at 2pm sees a menu of 3 games available on Sky Sports including Sunderland vs Tottenham on Sky Sports Main Event. Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa (Sky Sports Premier League) plus Crystal Palace vs Newcastle (Sky Sports Action) are the other Premier League matches.
Monday 13th April sees Manchester United vs Leeds United, live on Sky Sports Main Event with an 8pm kick-off. Manchester United under Michael Carrick have been the revelation of the second half of the season. United fans will like nothing more than beating their old foe from across the Pennines and sending them deeper into the relation battle.
From an EFL perspective, this weekend sees West Brom vs Millwall (Friday 8pm Sky Sports), Norwich vs Ipswich (Saturday 12:30pm Sky Sports) and Birmingham vs Wrexham (Sunday 12pm Sky Sports) on television.
Premier League Fixtures: Friday 10th April – Monday 13th April:
- Friday 10th April: West Ham vs Wolverhampton; Saturday 11th April: Arsenal vs Bournemouth, Brentford vs Everton, Burnley vs Brighton, Liverpool vs Fulham; Sunday 12th April: Crystal Palace vs Newcastle, Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa, Sunderland vs Tottenham, Chelsea vs Manchester City; Monday 13th April: Manchester United vs Leeds United.
It’s worth remembering that BOYLE Sports will be running their “2 Goals Ahead – Early Payout” promotion markets across West Ham vs Wolverhampton, Arsenal vs Bournemouth, Liverpool vs Fulham, Crystal Palace vs Newcastle, Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa, Sunderland vs Tottenham, Chelsea vs Manchester City, Manchester United vs Leeds United and all weekend Premier League & EFL Championship matches, meaning you get paid out as a winner if your team is winning by 2 goals, even if they draw or lose.

The Czech’s only defeats in the UFC have been to Alex Pereira who just vacated. Maori Carlos Ulberg came into the UFC via Dana White’s contender series and has been on a tare of late in the Light Heavyweight division beating Jan Blachowicz and Dominick Reyes (15-5), who is also on the Main Card fighting Johnny Walker (22-9-1NC) in what could be fight of the night.
