In simple terms, a Golf Bet Builder lets you combine two or more selections from the same tournament into a single bet, with the odds calculated for the combined outcome. Because some golf markets are related, the final Bet Builder price won’t always be the same as simply multiplying the individual odds together though.
Whilst it’s not a complicated proposition, there are some basics to be aware of and some differences between how Bet Builders work on golf compared to football. This Golf Bet Builders Explained article goes through these differences in plain English.
Golf Bet Builder at a glance:
✅ Combine multiple selections from one tournament
✅ Available on selected PGA Tour and DP World Tour events
✅ Markets include Winner, Top 5, Top 10, Top 20 and Make/Miss the Cut
✅ Build your own bet before the tournament starts
Here are the key terms for Bet Builder for bet365:
- Bet Builder lets you create your own personalised bet with bet365. You can select from the most popular markets and, once you have added them to your bet, you can calculate your odds. For example, you can choose Enhanced Win (Win Only), Top 10 Finish and To Make The Cut to create one single bet with the price for the combined selections. Make up to 12 selections to create your unique bet. Available on selected golf tournaments. Terms and Conditions apply. You can find out more about bet365’s Bet Builders here.
A Golf Bet Builder allows you to combine multiple selections from a single golf tournament into one customised bet, giving you flexibility over how you construct your bet. To help identify eligible selections, bet365 display a ‘BB’ icon next to any market that can be added to a Golf Bet Builder, as shown below:

Typical markets that can be added to a bet365 Golf Bet Builder include:
- Enhanced Win Only
- Top 5 Finish
- Top 10 Finish
- Top 20 Finish
- Top 30 Finish
- Top 40 Finish
- To Miss The Cut
As the product evolves for golf, we’d expect more markets to be added as an option so keep your eyes peeled.
Examples of how this works in a live tournament can be seen below. This was taken from the 3M Open in 2026 where Scottie Scheffler was the standout favourite in an otherwise weak field:

Odds above used for illustrative purposes and were correct at 08:45BST 23.7.26, but are naturally subject to fluctuation.
Our first example is for Scottie to win, Tom Kim to finish inside the top 5 (including ties) and Keith Mitchell to finish inside the top 10 (including ties). Scottie was arriving in Minnesota off the back of a top-4 finish at The Open, Tom Kim was in great form having won the Scottish Open, and Keith Mitchell was one of the more fancied players in the field. Compared to the skinny pre-event odds on offer for Scheffler to win outright, this Bet Builder offered considerably higher odds as you can see.
Alternatively, picking the same 3 players but going for a slightly more conservative approach with top-10 finishes for each still results in a decent enough price:

Odds above used for illustrative purposes and were correct at 08:47BST 23.7.26, but are naturally subject to fluctuation.
Another popular approach is to combine several players to make the cut in the same tournament. Of course, many of the top players would be expected to be around for the weekend in a weak field so in isolation will be short odds, however by constructing a Bet Builder with a few players included the odds become far more interesting:

Not every tournament or market will necessarily be available as part of a Golf Bet Builder. Available selections can vary depending on the event, the stage of the tournament and bet365’s pricing, so it’s always worth checking which markets carry the ‘BB’ icon before placing your bet.
