What Can I Use My Coral Free Bet On This Weekend?
Home Nations international qualifiers are the highlight of a sporting week which includes EFL League 1 and 2 fixtures as well as UFC Fight Night from Rio de Janeiro, all from Friday 10th October through to Monday 13th October 2025.
The live televised international football action kicks-off this Friday 10th October on BBC Two with Northern Ireland vs Slovakia at Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park, kick-off is at 7:45pm. Michael O’Neill’s Northern Irish side are unbeaten at home since October 2023 and will fancy their chances of beating Group A leaders Slovakia. The battle for top spot in Group A and automatic qualification is wide open after Slovakia stunned Germany in their opener, while O’Neill’s side beat Luxembourg and lost to the Germans in Cologne.
Sunday 12th October sees another pivotal qualifier as Scotland are in action at Hampden Park for the second time in 3 days as they play Belarus. This is a must-win in Group C where Denmark, Greece and the Scots are fighting it out for qualification. Belarus are the Group minnows, but did beat Scotland at Hampden back in 2005.
Saturday 11th October at 3pm sees a number of EFL games all available on Sky Sports+. League 1 features AFC Wimbledon vs Port Vale with a win for Johnnie Jackson’s Wimbledon side seeing them jump to a guaranteed third spot after 12 games played. Both Bolton and Stockport could also take advantage this weekend with wins for both clubs seeing them jump into the play-offs. They play Burton (away) and Blackpool (home) respectively.
Saturday at 5:30pm sees League 2 action on Sky Sports Football as Oldham Athletic play Barrow at Boundary Park. A win for Oldham would see them move into the top half of League 2, and their recent form is strong with wins over Bromley, Cambridge and Cheltenham. Barrow are unbeaten in their last 3 league matches plus have won on their last 2 league visits to Boundary Park.
Full EFL League 1 and League programme available on Sky Sports+ this Saturday:
- League 1: Northampton vs Rotherham, AFC Wimbledon vs Port Vale, Burton Albion vs Bolton, Exeter vs Reading, Leyton Orient vs Doncaster, Stockport vs Blackpool, Wigan vs Wycombe.
- League 2: Accrington Stanley vs Newport County, Bristol Rovers vs MK Dons, Chesterfield vs Salford City, Crawley vs Walsall, Crewe vs Bromley, Fleetwood vs Harrogate, Gillingham vs Cheltenham, Grimsby vs Colchester, Shrewsbury vs Cambridge, Tranmere vs Barnet, Oldham vs Barrow.
Monday 13th October sees a couple of gripping qualifiers for home nations, both live on terrestrial TV via the BBC at 7:45pm. Northern Ireland vs Germany at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park will feature a cracking atmosphere, the likes of which always makes it difficult for visiting nations. Wales vs Belgium at the Cardiff City Stadium is a pivotal fixture in Group J, with Craig Bellamy’s side looking for an unlikely win to power them towards qualification. Belgium haven’t won in Cardiff on their last 4 visits stretching back to 2012.
UFC Fight Night this Saturday comes from the Farmasi Arena in Rio, Brazil. Main Event sees Charles Oliveira vs Mateusz Gamrot in the Lightweight division. Brazilian hero Oliveira needs no introduction as a former UFC Lightweight champion who still ranks Number 4 in the division, after losing to Illia Topuria for the title last time out at UFC 317. Mateusz Gamrot is a late replacement for Rafael Fiziev and arguably a tougher fight for “De Bronx.” Ranked Number 8 in the division, he’s only been beaten 3 times in 11 UFC fights. Co-main features another Brazilian UFC legend and former champion in the form of Deiveson Figueiredo. The former Flyweight champion was within a victory of a shot at the Bantamweight division title, but a loss to Petr Yan derailed that dream. A further loss to Corey Sandhagen has started the conversation around whether the 37 year-old Figueiredo should retire, so this fight in Rio will be pivotal as he fights Montel Jackson, who is unbeaten in his last 6 UFC contests.
