What Can I Use My Coral Free Bet On This Week?
European, EFL Championship, League 1 and 2 football, plus top-level PGA Tour and DP World Tour golf are the highlights of the sporting week from Tuesday 17th March through Thursday 19th March.
European football is back with the Round of 16 – 2nd Leg matches played on Tuesday 17th March plus Wednesday 18th March. Key match on Tuesday sees Manchester City vs Real Madrid from the Emirates Stadium, kick-off 8pm on Amazon Prime. Real Madrid outclassed Haaland-less City at the Bernabeu last Wednesday and are now short-priced favourites to dump Pep Guardiola out of the competition again. The early TNT Sports 1 match sees Sporting CP vs Bodo/Glimt. Then at 8pm TNT Sports is showing Chelsea vs PSG at Stamford Bridge plus Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen from the Emirates Stadium.
Wednesday 18th March at 8pm sees Liverpool headline with a huge game at Anfield as The Reds look to overturn a 1 goal deficit against Galatasaray. The early TNT Sports 1 match at 5:45pm sees Barcelona vs Newcastle. The Magpies don’t travel well so Barcelona look a shoe-in for the Quarter-Finals. The other games are effectively dead-rubbers Bayern Munich vs Atalanta plus Tottenham vs Athletico Madrid.
Thursday 19th March sees the Europa League Round of 16 2nd Leg matches, with FC Midtjylland vs Nottingham Forest at 5:45pm on TNT Sports 2. 8pm then features Aston Villa vs Lille from Villa Park.
Tuesday and Wednesday sees EFL Championship, plus a full set of League 1 and League 2 fixtures. Tuesday 17th March:
- Championship – 7:45pm: Watford vs Wrexham.
- League 1 – 7:45pm: AFC Wimbledon vs Leyton Orient, Blackpool vs Port Vale, Bolton vs Doncaster, Bradford vs Mansfield, Burton Albion vs Reading, Cardiff vs Wycombe, Huddersfield vs Lincoln, Luton vs Exeter, Peterborough vs Rotherham, Plymouth vs Stevenage, Stockport vs Northampton; 8pm: Barnsley vs Wigan – Sky Sports Main Event / Football.
- League 2 – 7:30pmL Newport vs Bromley; 7:45pm: Accrington Stanley vs Notts County, Bristol Rovers vs Shrewsbury, Cheltenham vs Crewe, Chesterfield vs Oldham, Crawley vs Barnet, Gillingham vs Swindon, Grimsby vs Fleetwood, Salford vs Barrow, Tranmere vs Harrogate, Walsall vs Cambridge.
Wednesday 18th March:
- Championship – 7:45pm: Sky Sports+ – Southampton vs Norwich.
- League 2 – 8pm: MK Dons vs Colchester – Sky Sports Football.
Thursday 19th March sees the PGA Tour move to Tampa Bay and the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort for the Valspar Championship. A definite change in pace and golf course this week, as despite remaining in Florida the Copperhead Course is a tight, tree-lined affair, famous for fast conditions and tough scoring. Team Europe Ryder Cup star Viktor Hovland won this 12 months ago and is back to defend the Valspar crown he won at 50/1 in 2025. The field also contains Arnold Palmer Invitational winner Akshay Bhatia, Jacob Bridgeman, Patrick Cantlay, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ben Griffin, Brooks Koepka, Marco Penge, Xander Schauffele, J.J. Spaun, Jordan Spieth, Sahith Theegala and Justin Thomas.
Thursday 20th March also sees the start of the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing with the Hainan Classic played at the Blackstone Course, Mission Hills, Hainan Island, China. 2025 saw the inaugural Hainan Classic on the DP World Tour, won by Marco Penge who has gone on to the PGA Tour in 2026. Chinese interest will be in the form of Wenyi Ding, who has already had a number of top 30 finishes across Dubai, Kenya and the South African Open last time out. Recent winners Dan Bradbury and Freddy Schott travel to China, as do Callum Hill, Eugenio Chacarra, Angel Ayora, Oliver Lindell, Brandon Thompson Robinson, Andy Sullivan and Francesco Molinari.
